Hello Kitty Island Adventure - Lead Designer
For this Sanrio IP game my focus landed on the creation of a cozy open-world adventure with a good dose of crafting. Putting the emphasis on nurturing authentic connections with iconic characters while also integrating environmental conservation themes. I introduced a novel character 'TOPHAT' and a unique friendship system based on the giving of "small gifts," resonating deeply with the game's fanbase.
Cityscapes: Sim Builder - Lead Designer
In this city simulation game my role involved creating a game focused on sustainability and environmentally conscious living. There was more to this project than it being a simple city builder; it aimed to emulate games in the style of SimCity, emphasizing intricate city planning and environmental stewardship while also being accessible to players not familiar with the genre.
Vega Conflict and Battle Pirates - Lead Designer
On both these elder browser-based simulation games, I managed complex game economies, targeting balance for both PVP and PVE gameplay. I also introduced new game events and systems to keep players engaged and challenged.
Mayhem - Lead Designer
A competitive multiplayer battle royale platforming shooter intended for mobile eSports. My role involved designing archetypical characters like Sniper, Heavy, etc., and managing the game design team.
DC Legends - Lead Designer
I managed a team to create a hero collection action RPG using the vast library of DC characters. The challenge was to weave a narrative in harmony with television, comic, and movie releases and ensure game balance.
Codename Cygnus - Senior Narrative Designer and Writer
An innovative audio-only adventure game with native Alexa integration that underlines my love of new challenges. This project was groundbreaking in integrating voice interaction in gameplay.
Vanguard: Saga of Heroes - Diplomacy Lead Designer
I was the Diplomacy Lead Designer on this AAA MMORPG, managing a team to create the first collectible card game within an MMO. This involved intense design and balancing of card game mechanics, a novel venture at the time.
Indiana Jones Adventure World - Senior Game Designer
